Office Manager – Pensions and Wealth Management

Leicestershire (Ref AL782)

Salary c£28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience

My client is a rapidly expanding Pensions and Wealth Management company, and they have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Office Manager to join their growing team.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·         To be available as a first point of call for administrator queries and a point of escalation for clients.

·         To take charge of and develop a training and development plan for administrators and actively encourage the team.

·         To provide motivation and develop teamwork within the helpdesk and support team.

·         To ensure that high levels of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained and ensure any errors are rectified and used as a training and development identifier.

·         Maintain accurate records for all staff.

·         To assist with the wider company and project management and actively identify areas for improvement within the business.

·         To liaise and book appointments with potential clients.

·         Be able to handle incoming and outgoing calls balancing a variety of call types and complete any actions necessary following calls to provide the best service to clients.

·         To identify and manage complaints in line with the internal complaints policies and processes.

·         Ability to escalate any queries to the appropriate level within the company

 

Skills Required

·         Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, potential clients and providers.

·         Should be detail orientated and conscientious with the ability to demonstrate a methodical, organised, flexible approach to work.

·         Ability to always put the teams needs ahead of own and balance workloads

·         Adheres to set deadlines and has the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities.

·         Excellent management skills covering a wide variety of staff members of differing needs and development desires.

·         Ability to prioritise work and accept responsibility for all work completed by the team.

·         Maintain regular team meetings covering topical matters.

·         Uphold high standards of client satisfaction and regularly maintain KPIs and one to one reviews with staff members.

·         Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

·         Remain up to date with changes in legislation, AML policies and Data protection laws.

·         Computer literate and have the ability to pick up new systems quickly and provide training on these to the team.

·         Be proactive in approach to work planning & maintain a forward thinking approach to ensure that necessary preparations are performed prior to a change in workload.

·         Be responsible for checking work completed by the team and developing methods for audit and identifying potential problems before development.

·         Actively engage with the team to encourage best practice & efficiency.
