Investment and Pension Administrator

Leicester (Our Ref AL765)

Salary to £25,000 depending on experience + benefits

 

Our client is a very well regarding wealth management company, who now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Investment and Pension Administrator to join their team.

 

The role will be varied, and will typically involve the following core activities:

 

 

·         Processing investment transactions through to completion

·         Processing changes within trusts and re-assigning investments

·         Processing and seeing through to completion of ISA and platform re-registrations of plans

·         Processing pension contribution applications through to completion

·         Processing pension transfer applications through to completion

·         Processing drawdown applications through to completion

·         Processing annuity applications through to completion

·         Ensuring the client database and clients are kept up to date with progress

·         Dealing with ad-hoc queries from advisers and clients

·         Reconciling client valuations

·         Ongoing updating and maintenance of all client information

·         Ensuring compliance issues such as ID verification, client agreements are up to date for clients

·         Ensuring insurance companies provide accurate information and process applications timely and accurately

·         Processing proposals for Life products through to completion when the Life Team requires extra support

 

The ideal candidate is likely to have::

 

·         CII qualifications

·         A genuine interest in the investment and pensions industry

·         Knowledge of Cofunds, 7IM, Aviva and James Hay Platforms

·         Knowledge of 1st/Avelo/IRESS database

·         Knowledge of Investment and Pensions products

·         Flexible approach and able to adapt to varying workloads

·         Attention to detail

·         Good communication skills
