Senior Financial Services / IFA Support Administrator  (ref AL752)

Salary £25,000 - £28,000 + full benefits package


My client is a long standing IFA organisation and they now have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Senior Financial Services/IFA Administrator to join their team.  The main purpose of the role is to ensure all pension, investment and protection business is effectively managed and that all service levels are met by using the company’s workflows and procedures.



Main Duties

·                     Creating New client packs

·                     Check Fact Finds are fully completed and input onto database

·                     Prepare & send off authority letters

·                     Input policy details of existing plans once received from providers

·                     Check all Anti Money Laundering  information is current and relevant checks have            taken place

·                     Obtain illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other relevant           supporting documentation

·                     Check & submit new business to provider or submit applications on line

·                     Track new business and current position, updating Adviser/Paraplanner accordingly

·                     Ad hoc valuations

·                     Trades - placing, chasing and updating

·                     Preparing review packs

·                     Post client review administration

·                     Organise future planning meetings with client

·                     Update cashflow models in preparation for review meetings

·                     Upkeep of Planners diary


·                 CII Award in Financial Administration (Desired)

·                 Good standard of education including maths and english qualifications


Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours:

·                     Previous experience in a Financial Services Administration role

·                     Excellent understanding of the financial planning process

·                     Excellent communication skills & telephone manner at all levels

·                     Excellent team player

·                     Proficient in IT skills, word processing and spread-sheet knowledge
