Financial Services Administrator – (Helpdesk & Support)

North Leicestershire (ref AL729)

Salary to £25,000 per annum

My client is a successful and expanding Wealth Management company, based in North Leicestershire and due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their team.

Great prospects exist due to the expansion of the company.

 

The role:

·         To prepare paperwork for client applications

·         To submit all new business, whether by post or online

·         To deal with any follow-on work such as investing monies, paying out pension benefits etc

·         Chasing all new business to completion and payment of fees

·         Entering all business and client contact on the back office system

·         Keeping the Wealth Management Team updated on cases

·         To obtain illustrations for new business, including pensions, drawdown, annuities and any other products as required

·         To prepare client valuations and any necessary paperwork for client reviews

·         To deal with general client queries as required.

·         To post letters of authority and deal with responses

·         To be able to undertake pension transfer comparisons using Selectapension

·         To maintain a diary system for client reviews and other work

 

The Person:

·         Must have GCSE minimum Grade C in English and Maths

·         Industry qualifications would be an advantage but experience is more important

·         Must have experience working in an IFA environment in an administration capacity.

·         Must have a good understanding of financial products, especially pensions

·         Needs to have a thorough knowledge of new business processing

·         Experience of using Intelligent Office, Assureweb, Defaqto and Selectapension would be preferred

·         Must have good working knowledge of providers paperwork and systems

·         Must be well organised and capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines

·         Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels

·         Ability to write letters to a high standard of literacy

·         Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft products, and financial services software
