Business Support Administrator – Wealth Management

Nr Derby (our ref AL727)

Part time role – 3 – 4 days per week

Salary: c£20,000 per annum (full time equivalent)


My client is a high profile, Wealth Management company, based near Derby, and they are looking to appoint a Business Support Administrator, to provide administrative support to the Principal, Senior Paraplanner and the Practice Manager.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

·         To apply for the Letters of Authority/Policy Services and follow these procedures through until completion. 

·         To obtain information from product providers on existing client policies as required

·         To assist with the initial report process for the Principal and the paraplanners.

·         Update IT database on receipt of Client Review Update Questionnaire.

·         Check all suitability letters produced by the paraplanners prior to business submission and get the packs ready for presentation to the client.

·         Process all trust documentation as directed by the paraplanners and follow through to issue stage.

·         To deal with administration relating to death certificates, changes of trustees, changes of client address and deeds.

·         To cover for the Practice Manager during holidays and be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls when the Practice Manager is unavailable.

·         Comply with FSA regulations, compliance, T&C, TCF, AML and financial crime procedures at all times.

·         To keep an up-to-date record of any training and development undertaken

·         To keep up-to-date with current legislation changes.

·         To work as part of the administration team and be flexible, by prioritising tasks and having discussions with paraplanners on a regular basis.


The Person:


·         Previous experience working within a financial services / wealth management organisation

·         Understanding of life, pension and investment products

·         Professional manner, with outstanding client skills

·         IT literate

·         Accurate and able to work to deadlines

·         CII qualifications will be a distinct advantage
